The ANZ building on the corner of Cameron and Elizabeth in Tauranga can house up to 450 workers and was the city’s largest commercial office development for 35 years.
The steel columns were erected to their full height, then back-filled with high strength concrete. This involved complex plate-work to attach the straight beams to the cylindrical columns.
