Working with Fletcher Construction, the Kathleen Kilgour Centre is part of the continued development on the Tauranga Hospital Site.
The Centre was purpose built to house the Radiotherapy unit. This meant the walls on the radiotherapy theatre were made of incredibly thick solid steel to prevent radiation escaping.
The roof structure and stairwell are design features of this building.
